Batgirl (2016-) #7
I always get a kick out of a Dick Grayson appearance. The fact that Babs can just call him up whenever to talk about anything is so cute. I’m liking the art in this issue. I don’t really like that Barbara is going to be a librarian again. It feels very dated and just not like a natural progression to her character. It feels more like a backwards move and one done solely out of Rebirth being about pandering to nostalgic fans. I do appreciate the book tackling more serious topics in this run. The homeless people in Burnside feel like an organic development to the rising housing prices introduced in the previous run.
