I have been wanting to read this title since I first discovered the red hood… so excited to have access to them now thanks so much DC.
It’s nice to see the implicit authority Alfred has in the opening pages. It is a situation we don’t often see him in.
Big fan of Alfred’s narration/read on the Jason Todd situation in this issue. This is why he’s such an important character in these books, he offers perspective in a way the Bat Family can’t bc they’re to wrapped up in the fight.
I kind of wonder, do you guys think Alfred honestly cares about Batmans “war on crime” or just the welfare of Bruce Wayne? Honestly, I’ve read these books my entire life and I don’t think I know the answer to that…
