Green Lantern (2011-) #38
Okay. Having binged all of the contemporary Green Lantern comics in the last week, this is still the first issue to get me a bit emotional. This is the right sort of character exploration. Exactly fit what the character of Hal Jordan needed. It felt fresh, touching, and heart-wrenching, while still feeling completely true to the character. Great read to catch Hal Jordan up with the consequences of being Green Lantern.
Carol/Kyle is just weird to me… but it was neat to see some introspection with Hal. We don’t see many quieter moments with him.
