I’ve been trying to suspend my disbelief and accept the Titans version of Bruce Wayne but when this latest episode dropped (spoilery)… and he was doing some fighting they completely lost me again, he moves like a very old man and just didn’t embody the freaking amazing Batman we got a glimpse of at the end of season 1. Anyone else having this issue?
Sadly yes, among other issues with this season
I know that many people feel that way, but I’m actually very fond of this Bruce.
I mean this as respectfully as possible…
Man hell no!!! #BalewasagoodBruce
I mean, Bale was better than Val Kilmer, at least.
Ok, I can agree with that
Bale is the best batman period. No one else had a trilogy. Peace.
Keaton didn’t have a trilogy because he had the good sense to turn down his mediocre third movie.
As Wayne Campbell would say “Shhhyeah, right!” Did Bale rock a turtleneck, work with Ed Begley Jr. and get to smooch Chase Meridian? I don’t think so.
To be on topic, I like the Titans take on Bruce.
And despite his best efforts, Bale never quite nailed Val’s Bat-lisp.
Bale also never drove the best Batmobile.
Nor was anyone compared to a kiss from a rose in his films. They were all too busy trying to get the condensed milk from the top shelf or something.
AND none of Bale’s movies had a “Music From and Inspired By” soundtrack that featured U2, The Offspring, Nick Cave and The Flaming Lips, among others.
See? Kilmer is kewl, man!
The only actor to portray both Bruce Wayne and Batman and absolutely nail both characters was Ben Affleck. I have spoken
Perhaps this thread needs to be rebranded, “Holy Hot Takes, Batman!”
Anyway, I love the Titans Bruce because he reminds me of the one true Batman, Adam West.
Great as Batman for sure but i never bought him as Bruce.
Nick Nolte’s Ugnaught character from The Mandalorian is here! Su-weet!
