The Flash (1987-) #216
I feel like intent matters in these cases in terms of how Wally’s actions differed from the Identity Crisis actions. Wally just wanted his identity secret and didn’t really think about what that could mean/who it could affect. When he found out and realized the extent of what happened, he set about revealing his identity to friends, family, and teammates. The identity Crisis plot was about knowingly altering people’s minds, even changing how their minds worked. From chatter, I think this all comes to a head in some Justice League comics down the road, but reading about heroes rationalizing their poor - deliberate - actions is the main thing I disliked about this whole storyline. At least actions are finally being taken here to try and help correct some of those past mistakes.
