What happened with red hood between vol. 1 (arsenal & starfire) and vol. 2 (Artemis & bizarro) i ask because i thought it was a reboot, but red makes a reference to breaking arsenal out of prison with the help of starfire, which is straight out of their stories. Anybody can clear this up for me?
They are two different series, although the titles are the same.
Vol 1 is from New 52, 2011, and stars Red Hood, Arsenal and Starfire.
Vol 2 is from Rebirth, 2016 and stars Red Hood, Artemis and Bizarro.
Rebirth was a very imperfect reboot in that it only changed some of the New 52 continuity and only added in some of the pre-Flashpoint. What you’re describing sounds like the opening of the New 52 series.
Red Hood/Arsenal is the series that came in between the first and second volumes of Red Hood and the Outlaws.
RH/A ran from June of 2015 to June of 2016 for thirteen issues (two trades). It will be here soon enough during the massive update.
Note: I will be moving this thread over to the “Comic Books” section, where it is a little more fitting.
